2023 Uniform Update

Shoes

From the commencement of 2023, the expectation for school shoes will be that all students should be wearing plain black leather or leather-like sports shoes with no colour markings, coloured logos or coloured soles. This is the case for students continuing to wear the current uniform or moving to the Smart Play uniform when it is available.  These shoes will be worn every day, including for sport.

Socks

Socks with the formal uniform - light blue for girls, grey for boys

Sports uniform - short white or black socks

There must be no colours or logos on socks.  Students wearing socks with logos will be issued a pair of school-owned socks which will be changed back at the end of the day.

Students moving to the Smart Play uniform will wear the new school design socks.

Bag

The SPC school bag will also become a compulsory uniform item.  If you need to buy your child a new bag, it would be best to buy a SPC bag.

Uniform

When the Smart Play uniform becomes available, anticipated in Term 2, the Kinder students will all wear the new uniform.  As will the 2023 Prep students, who will wear their current sports uniform until the new items are ready.

From Year 1 to Year 6, students will continue to wear the current uniform, formal and sports.  Students have the option of moving to the Smart Play uniform, but are able to stay in the current uniform until 2025.  There can be no mixing of the 2 uniforms.

Hair

Please have your child return to school with an appropriate hairstyle - natural colour only, no colours or dyes; no mullet style cuts of any length (ie short, shaved sides distinctly different to the rest of the hair); long hair that touches the collar to be tied up for girls and boys.
