From the Principal
We find ourselves, so quickly it seems, at the end of another school year! It has been a very eventful year, one that began with COVID, closed classes, locked down families and the cancellation of many of our regular events and activities. As always, we pulled together as a community to ensure our students were settled and learning. Thank you so much for your support of the school during that time.
Thanks and gratitude to our School Board. I rely on our Board members for their local knowledge and contacts which have assisted us in various ways this year. Your support of me is so greatly appreciated! Thanks also to our P&F and volunteers who have given generously of their time. The P&F, whilst a small group, have been supported more widely this year with the Bake Raffle and the events they have held. They know that not everyone can make it to meetings, but are very grateful for your support in other ways.
I cannot speak highly enough of our staff. I feel truly blessed every day to work alongside these passionate and committed colleagues. There is a deep compassion, generosity and care that I have witnessed in few other places.
I am very proud of our students. It has been a very calm year, with every student working hard to be the best that they can be.
Farewell to our Year Six students. I wish them all the best in the next stage of their educational journey. We will remember them fondly and hope that they look back on their primary school years with a smile.
I wish you all a holy Christmas season. See you again in 2023.
